ayurveda & yoga retreat with Stephenie Going
April 28 - May 1, 2023
The knowing heart is the sacred threshold where the world of material existence and the world of spiritual Being meet and are integrated. In cultivating a knowing heart, we learn to experience a new sense of self, gain access to stillness within the flow of life, and enhance our creative capacities. Ultimately, we realize our sacred humanness.
Ayurveda and yoga are both built on the foundations of attunement. Over this weekend, you’ll immerse yourself in the impeccable nature of the Columbia Gorge while deepening your capacity to attune, observe, relax, and nourish yourself with Ayurveda and yoga. This retreat will provide time for you to reset, re-harmonize, and return home with tangible ways to maintain peace in your life and openness in your heart.
The magic you can expect…
Daily yoga practices focused on creating stillness and stability.
An understanding of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and self-care routines for rejuvenating health.
Restorative Yoga Nidra for deep rest and relaxation.
Therapeutic art experiences to deepen intention and self-awareness.
Forest bathing to unplug from busy-life and rest amidst nature.
Evening satsang and tea sessions.
Gentle Tridoshic Pranayama will be introduced along with guided meditation and relaxation techniques to regulate the nervous system.
Abhyanga (Ayurvedic massage) sessions designed to give you the tools for self-healing.
Soaking sessions in the saltwater hydrotherapy pools and cedar sauna.
Seasonal, organic meals from Native Provisions that are carefully grown and nurtured by our local farmers here in the Columbia River Gorge.
Local artist, Molly Holmlund, will take us on a journey through her alchemical process of transforming foraged raw ingredients into inks. Through out the weekend, we will take intentional time to paint, draw, and journal with the botanical inks we create with Molly.
